Kunonga graces Rutendo Jackie album launch

VETERAN jazz crooner, Victor Kunonga who boasts of more than two decades in the music terrain and mbira maestro, Nyamasvisva and Maungira eNharira headline Rutendo Jackie’s album launch tomorrow (Saturday).

 

The album, Tsvimbo Nedohwe carries six tracks.

 

Kunonga and Nyamasvisva will be supported by local groups, ZPCS Mutare Band and Fellaz Band.

 

Diamond FM station manager, Jabulani “JB” Mangezi will be the MC.

 

The event starts at 6pm.

Club Mandisa

Harare-based rapper, Carlos Green entertains fans at the joint tonight (Friday) in a potentially-explosive gig.

 

Green, popular for songs such as Vaisada, Handirare Ndega, Ex wangu and Palabras will be supported by Mandisa Queens and DJ Silver Vee of Silvibes Entertainment.

Cannibal Inn

The spacious and outdoor entertainment joint situated along Mutare-Chimanimani Highway will tomorrow (Saturday) host a family fun day which is open for all ages.

 

Available activities for kids include jumping castle, water slides and other games.

Adults will also treated to an assortment of music from selected deejays.

Hide Out Inn (Rusape)

The drinking spot located in Vengere suburb which is now under young and energetic management has changed the face of entertainment in the town with some sumptuous braai, versatile deejays on rotation and ice cold beer.

Micasa

The uptown joint introduces a packed weekend which curtains up with MaRasta Wednesday followed by Ladies and Karaoke Thursday, before the old and new skool sessions on Friday and Saturday respectively.

 

Jazz sensation, Steve Chikotie headlines every Sunday’s jazz nights.

Chitima Bar

The watering hole situated in Chipinge’s Gaza suburb is the place to be this and other weekends as local deejays will entertain fun lovers with an assortment of music.

The spot which is now under new management has been rejuvenated to suit all patrons.

Matimba Bar

The hide-out which is 12km from Mutare is the ideal place for those fondly in love with open air as local deejays will be on rotation.

Revellers will enjoy an exciting package, including sumptuous braai, jukebox music and pool.

 

The venue is also known for hosting social soccer clubs.
