The latest development gave the Anglican Church of the Province of Central Africa Bishop Chad Gandiya total control of all the church properties in Zimbabwe.
Bishop Jakazi had his appeal struck off for being defective together with several others for Bishop Nolbert Kunonga.
But he filed an application for late condonation, which Justice Ziyambi dimissed.
Bishop Jakazi together with Bishop Kunonga resigned from the Church of the Province of Zimbabwe in 2007 citing homosexuality allegations but they were fighting to control the church property in their respective dioceses.
CPCA argued that the two could not take with them the church property but they insisted that they were entitled to it.
Dismissing Bishop Jakazi’s fresh bid to control the church, Justice Ziyambi ruled that Bishop Jakazi, like Bishop Kunonga, resigned from the church and that he could not control the same church.
Justice Ziyambi ruled that there were no prospects of success in the appeal by Bishop Jakazi.
Advocate Thabani Mpofu instructed by Mr Raymond Moyo represented CPCA while Chikumbirike and Associates acted for Bishop Jakazi and the board trustees trustees for Diocese of Manicaland.
