HIGHLANDERS’ midfielder Rahman Kutsanzira has thanked his teammates for honouring him as the Players’ Player of the Season at the club’s awards ceremony held last Friday.

Bosso finished the 2016 season third behind champions Caps United and FC Platinum. Kutsanzira expressed gratitude for the support the team and him received from all corners of the country.

“Surely hard work brings results. Thank you God Almighty for giving me the talent, family, friends, teammates and the lovely fans for your support throughout this great year. I also thank you for voting me the club`s Players’ Player of the Season. God bless you all,” Kutsanzira wrote on his Facebook timeline.

He also lauded Bosso fans for helping his football career to flourish.

“Football without its owners will not be enjoyable and entertaining. Our fans are always there to motivate and inspire us. Without their support we will never go anywhere. Team black and white fans played a key role in my life and career this season. You gave me spiritual and moral support, you inspired me ngiyalibonga kakhulu ngosekelo, ngothando langokunanzwa (I thank you very much for the support, love and care).

“I hope to give back by always fighting in the field and helping the team with great performances. Special thanks to these two great groups, Bosso 90 and Bosso Bulletin for the support. Thank you for awarding me lingadinwa lakusasa, God bless you all MaBosso amahle,” wrote Kutsanzira.

He enjoyed a rich vein of form throughout the season and was instrumental in Highlanders’ midfield despite a few injuries that kept him out of action for some time.

With negotiations still under way for the player to extend his stay at Highlanders, Kutsanzira said he would love to stay at the club, but it’s dependent on what he is offered.
