Kwekwe police hunt three suspects in connection with Zhombe murder

POLICE in Kwekwe are seeking the public’s assistance in locating three suspects wanted in connection with a murder that occurred on 13 March 2025, at Mushange Business Centre in Zhombe.

On a statement on X, the police said the suspects, identified as Kenias Mapfumo, Armstrong Marumahoko, and Mathias Tatenda Dhlamini, allegedly attacked Shepherd Mavhangira, 45, with bricks at a bar in Mushange Business Centre.

Mavhangira, who had attempted to intervene and stop the suspects from throwing bricks at patrons, died on the spot from his injuries.

The police are appealing to anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the suspects to come forward and report to the nearest police station.
