goalless draw by DSTV Rangers on Saturday.
The log leaders failed to collect maximum points that could have seen them stretching their lead to three points.
However, with the other five teams in the top six also managing draws, La Liga remained on top of the table.
La Liga coach, Naison Muchekela was satisfied with the point and commended their opponents for a good game.
“We played quite well, especially in the second half, Artwell Nyamiwa brought some life in the game. He is a mature player.
“DSTV Rangers gave us a good run, they are a good side and I think a draw was a fair result for both teams considering that they controlled the first half and we had an upper hand in the second half.
“The top six teams drew so it was an advantage to us,” said Muchekela.
Muchekela said the race for the championship was still wide open.
“We will take each game as it comes. We are not talking about the championship now, we just want to maintain our position and avoid relegation,” said Muchekela.
