CONTROVERSIAL Zim dancehall artist, Brenda “Lady B” Bechani, has promised fans a clean album later this month.

She said she has now taken a new route after getting a backlash for explicit chants.

Speaking to H-Metro, the Yekedero singer said her new project is for every listener.

“I just tied the knot and I now want to sing good music by avoiding explicit content.

“It is my hope that listeners will receive and support my new music,” said the chanter.

The Glen Norah-based artist said her fans should embrace and support what she is now singing.

The chanter is well known for vulgar and erotic moves, which have attracted severe negative criticism, in the music circles.

She said she has repented and now wants to portray a good picture in her marriage.

The album titled ‘Sahwira Mukuru’ has 14 tracks.

“On this project I have worked with Tocky Vibes and Dhadza Dee.

“It took me three good months to come up with this album, which proves that it is something big.

“Among the tracks there is Torambana Here and Roll It,” said Lady B.

She also promised beautiful visuals.

The chanter, who will be celebrating her birthday today, said if her new music does not receive the support she is anticipating, she will venture into her old chants.

She was among artists warned by Madzibaba Nicholas Zakaria for singing explicit content.
