The just-ended Battle of Bands and Deejays held last weekend at Hunyani Hills Hotel, on the shores of Lake Chivero, lived up to its billing.

Hundreds of fans thronged the venue to enjoy some of the afternoon activities, which included boat rides and enjoying the ambience of the venue.

The acts, which performed, included Shabach The Band, Feli Nandi, Van Choga, Etherton Beenie and Garry B,Raydizz, King Her, Judgement Yard, Dj Hush and MC Jibhaldo.

They entertained revellers until the wee hours of Sunday. In an interview with H-Metro, on the sidelines of the show, show promoter, Nigel Chinovhiringa, said:

“I am quite pleased with how things turned out today and we had a much better event than the first.

“The entertainers were on point and displayed great energy on stage.

“I am quite sure all those who attended enjoyed it, the feedback from people has been great.”

He added:

“We look forward to the next event and, hopefully, we do better than we did at this one.

“We still have more events lined up for this summer and people should just check with our online calendar to see what is coming next.”
