Leopold Mapiravana (55), who resides at house number 735 Joshua Nkomo, appeared in court answering to indecent assault charges after he was accused by Soviet Savanhu (21), of entering her room without permission.

Mapiravana pleaded not guilty to the charges. Mr Mambanje postponed the case to November 15 for further trial.

According to prosecutor Mr Lawrence Gangarahwe, on October 5, 2019 at around 6:10am, Savanhu was naked in her room after taking a bath. Mapiravana just entered without asking for permission. The court heard that Savanhu put on her clothes and went to report the matter to the police.

Mr Gangarahwe advised the court that there was need to establish whether or not there were any witnesses.
