Advocate Prince Machaya has been sworn in as the Attorney-General of Zimbabwe at a brief ceremony held at Munhumutapa Building.
He took the oath before Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa in terms of Section 114 (2) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe.

According to Section 114(2),  that “ a person who has been appointed as Attorney-General assumes office upon taking before the President, or a person authorised by the President, the oaths of loyalty and office in the forms set out in Third Schedule.”

President Mugabe appointed Adv Machaya  to the post last week on Thursday.
