Latest: Kenya hosts summit to address climate change

NAIROBI – THE ninth International Conference on Community-Based Adaptation to Climate Change (CBA9) is ongoing in Nairobi, Kenya. CBA9, which ends on Thursday, is focusing on measuring and enhancing the effectiveness of adaptation to climate change.

Practitioners, including more than 400 delegates from all continents, have converged in the Kenyan capital to share their experiences.

Government of Kenya is hosting the event.

The African Centre for Technology Studies jointly with the Government of Kenya, IIED and the Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies are organizing the conference.

This conference is held before the 21st Conference on Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21) to be held in Paris, France in December. – CAJ News
