YOUR liveliest weekly paper, Sunday News, will on Saturday live stream the Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards in conjunction with the Centre for Innovation and Technology (CITE) on their respective social media platforms.
The Awards ceremony which is already the talk of the town will be held at the Large City Hall where hundreds of arts enthusiasts are expected to converge in celebration of the arts sector in the region.
Sunday News and CITE have agreed to work together to broadcast live the event on their Facebook pages; Sunday News Zimbabwe and Centre for Innovation and Technology.
Sunday News editor, Limukani Ncube confirmed these developments saying they wanted to give their readers who would not be able to be at the Large City Hall an opportunity to be part of the awards ceremony.
He said as Sunday News they were excited to be part of the biggest arts awards event, this side of the country.
“We are excited to be part of the awards that not only honour and celebrate artistic talents but also serve as a platform for Bulawayo to stand up and show the world that indeed it is the melting pot of arts and culture.
“The awards have also proven that our city, our region and the country at large is poised for good things to come if everyone pulls in the same direction. We believe live streaming the event will give those at home and abroad an opportunity to be part of this grand occasion and we seek to be a conduit in that regard as Sunday News.
