Tomana appointed Prosecutor General

Attorney General Johannes Tomana has been sworn in as the new Prosecutor General of the National Prosecution Authority in terms of the new constitution.

He was sworn in by President Mugabe at State House today.

The Prosecutor General is responsible for prosecuting criminal cases while the office of the AG will be Chief Government Legal Adviser. Government is still to fill the post of Attorney General.
