Latest: Gumbura judgement postponed

Herald Reporter—-
Harare magistrate Mr Hoseah Mujaya has postponed indefinitely the judgement of RMG Independent End Time Message leader Martin Gumbura who is accused of raping seven women from his church. Mr Mujaya deferred the case to tomorrow after the court decided to conduct an inspection-in-loco for indications at Gumbura’s house today.

But following the inspection-in-loco, it is now expected that the matter will continue tomorrow before the judgement is delivered on a date to be set.

During the indications, Gumbura argued that if he indeed raped the alleged victims, they would have escaped from his house whose other gates were always open. The house has three gates but two were always open while one stays locked.
