DYNAMOS forward Leeroy Mavhunga is confident his team can keep the momentum after a four-match winning streak that has boosted their survival chances.
The Glamour Boys are just a win away from temporarily escaping the relegation zone.
A victory over Triangle at Rufaro on Sunday will see DeMbare join the Lowveld side on 31 points, leaving both sides navigating the treacherous waters of the relegation matrix.
The match holds a personal significance for Mavhunga, who meets a coach who played a pivotal role in shaping his career.
Mavhunga and Genesis Mangombe worked together at Yadah in 2018 and Scottland last year.
“He coached me in his first PSL season in 2018, and I learnt a lot from him. He’s a great coach.
“At Scottland, we helped the club earn promotion.
“He’s a coach who believed in me which enabled me to score nine goals and provide six assists despite joining mid-season.
“When I returned from Botswana, I needed support, and he gave it to me,” said Mavhunga.
He added:
“It’s been a tough season. We lost some games in the first half and panicked, which affected us mentally.
“But, with coach Kelvin Kaindu’s arrival, we’ve seen significant improvement. We’re fighting till the end. Dynamos deserve to be on top every season but football has its ups and downs, so we’ll just have to fight till the end.
“Coach Kaindu has boosted our confidence and we are banking on it.”
