Farai Maringa
Hello Cool teens. I guess you are enjoying the cool lifestyle paper as usual. Today we are going to talk about something important and I will begin by sharing a verse in the bible. Genesis 1vs3 says, “Then God commanded, ‘let there be light and light appeared. God was pleased with what he saw . . . then he separated light from darkness”.
Light is something that everyone in this world loves, and without light everything would be invisible and unattainable. In our daily lives as teenagers there are some times which really seem like darkness. You face situations that can make you feel like you are nobody.
Sometimes you may feel like you are in your own little world, where there is darkness and you cannot see anything or anyone else.
I want to tell you that those things are not permanent, but are just for a moment. God will bring light to your situation if you just only trust in Him.
In tough times fight for your victory until you see the light of your success. When you are at school, there are some subjects which really seem like darkness to you. But study them hard until you experience the light you desire. In life there are periods which really freak you out, and sometimes you do not know what to do. Just hold on until you are in the light zone.
There is this song by Alexio Kawara which inspires me called Shaina which most of you are familiar with. He sang, “Zuva parinobuda, richishaina newe shainawo” – (when the sun shines you also must shine).
This song gives someone a feeling that you should shine always wherever you go. Be a light wherever you go, when you see others go wrong, be there to light up their minds and show them the right way. Always remember that darkness cannot swallow light. Decide to fight the darkness of your life until you see the light you desire, and always shine like the sun wherever you go.
That’s it for today fellas. Enjoy your day Farai, out . . .
