FAITH MATTERS
Your future is in your seeds. What are you sowing?
Everything in the Kingdom of God is seed based.
You cannot receive anything from God without sowing a seed. Now a seed may be in the form of words spoken by you into the spiritual realm.
It can also be in the form of money or other things on this earth, that you are sowing to bring spiritual truth into manifesting physical things and prosperity on the earth. That is how the believer in Christ is empowered to prosper with the blessing, as he cultivates the habit of sowing seeds on the earth as a way of life.
This is why it is important to come before the Lord without any focus on needs or on the seeds.
Our focus needs to be on worshipping him alone, even though he expects us to come before him with seeds. He already knows about our needs before we come to him in worship. So do not worry about your needs in his presence. He wants to see our seeds, so as to be able to meet those needs.
The Bible warned us about this when it says:
“As you enter the house of God, keep your ears open and your mouth shut. It is evil to make mindless offerings to God. Do not make rash promises, and do not be hasty in bringing matters before God. After all, God is in heaven, and you are here on earth. So let your words be few. Too much activity gives you restless dreams; too many words make you a fool.” cclesiastes5:1-3NLT
The enemy uses the fear of a need ever being met, to cripple the faith of many as they are sowing words before God so as to reap a harvest. They end up sowing their needs “mindlessly” before the Lord; instead of sowing seeds by faith.
They end up sowing their needs by uttering vain seed words about those needs before God. That is why they are having countless restless dreams which are not being fulfilled.
King Solomon continued in the above scripture texts by saying:
“When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfil it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfil your vow. It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfil it. Do not let your mouth lead you into sin. And do not protest to the temple messenger, “My vow was a mistake.” Why should God be angry at what you say and destroy the work of your hands? Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore, fear God.” Ecclesiastes5:4-7 NIV
Mindless words with dreams, visions, plans, programmes and ideas are meaningless without a seed before the Lord. There are many children of God like this all over the world today. They care so much about the needs in fulfilling their dreams and vision; but they are not sowing seeds. So they end up finding themselves “in-between the rock in a hard place.”
There are people in churches today who view seeding as a way of offering a helping hand to the body of Christ, and as an investment into their own lives so as to take care of their needs later with the dividends.
Jesus was the seed for your needs
Jesus sowed his life on the cross for your redemption. The exchange for those needs had already taken place on the cross at Calvary. Jesus completed the exchange transaction. All that is needed now is for you to accept that exchange transaction by Jesus on the cross with your seed words; because:
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.” – biblevisionintministries
