Let’s celebrate the men in our lives

Life Issues with FGK

June is a special month because it is dedicated to celebrate men.

In every man God placed a father.

Men have made us what we are.

Being a father carries great responsibility.

The world can only be a better place if we have good dads.

Oftentimes, the father is the leading voice in the family.

Children copy their father’s leadership style or skill when they eventually have their own families.

It is against this background that every father should always aim to leave great footsteps for their sons and daughters.

This is one of the many ways to create better, loving and peaceful generations.

Likewise, you should also pray that your fathers have the wisdom and strength to fulfill their God-given mandate.

Also, take time to thank the Creator for the great husband, son, brother, or any other men you have in your life.

Men’s onerous responsibilities deserve prayers all the time.

Some drink alcohol and/or smoke not by choice, but as a way to relieve stress from day-to-day pressures they face in life.

A closer look will reveal that most of the pressure is for them to provide for their immediate and extended families.

Before we judge anyone, it is important to find out the kind of challenge they face and how best we can assist as family or friends.

There is nothing so distressing for a man like having people that look up to you yet you cannot provide.

This Father’s Day, and many more to come, make it your priority to do something special for the man in your life — be it your biological father, the father of your children or any male figure.

This will make them feel loved and appreciated, which will in turn cause them to love you more.

Let me take this opportunity to remind men that fatherhood is more than just having children.

Just like a farmer, you need to plant, nurse your seeds, water and watch over them so that you get a good yield.

Children need proper guidance and nurturing for them to become responsible adults.

It is never too late for fathers that have been abrogating their responsibilities to reform.

True love and an apology can erase all bad things that happened in the past.

Make a fresh start and be there for your family.

Love and protect them.

Do the best for your children and build the best future for them.

Make your wife a happy woman.

If you do not love your wife and children, who do you expect to love them?

Quote of the week: It is never too late for fathers that have been abrogating their responsibilities to reform.
