Let’s go local this time around

The holidays are upon us, finally!
We welcome another well-deserved break and I’m sure by now we have all reset our morning alarms to say 10am!
The mode is on happy holiday now and check out how we plan to spend it.
“We support local.”
Local is indeed the way to go and one of our activities for this holiday is baying for the couch potato award.

The cinemas are going to be crazy with the latest movies because the coolest crowd is in town now that schools are closed.
There is everything for everyone, but our must see is the epic movie “The Zimbabwean Warrior” that is premièring at Ster Kinekor Eastgate on August 15.

We have already given the trailer three stars and we can’t wait to be taken back to basics.
Remember we are local and we support local.
We are fast and furious

There is absolutely nothing not to love about sleek cars and driving like a racer.
Don’t get us wrong, we love the adrenaline, but we’re those guys that chill in the cheer on the sidelines with shades and tumbler in hand when things heat up.

That’s what it is at the Spin City BMW Burn Outs Mania this afternoon.
The Longchen Plaza is becoming a lil’ heaven for adrenalin junkies such as yours truly.

So there is an opportunity to experience life in the fast lane — the fast and furious way, but word of advice: Leave the drag racing and car spinning to professionals.

We are Afri-urban
Indeed we are Afri-Urban and our look is saying it out loud this holiday.

The holidays would not be complete without bold fashion statements and what better trends than those that celebrate who we are.
In that regard Respect to #The Empire-Home of Urban Culture Wear that is taking urban fashion to dizzy levels with killer pieces.

We have liked everything on their Facebook wall and here are our take backs:
The Afri-Urban print crop tops for the girls and Afri-Urban waist coats for the guys.

These are must haves for those who like show-stopping.
The Empire-Home of Urban Culture Wear is the reason why we support local — local is on fleek!
