Starting is the important part of success, even though finishing is often thought of as having arrived.
It’s so easy to get caught up in wondering about how things will turn out that you lose sight of getting started.
You also worry about failing or coming up against obstacles along the way, but this can deter you from even starting.
But all that is imaginary thinking because you only start moving towards your goal with these challenges as you come upon them.
You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great. Great people can see with their mind further than they can see with their eyes.
They create vision in their mind with their imagination and insight and then make it a reality by gathering resources, grabbing opportunities and motivating people.
We have to understand that the world can only be grasped by action and not by contemplation. The hand is more important than the eye and the hand is the cutting edge of the mind.
Replace the word ‘problem’ with the word ‘opportunity’ in all your thoughts.
Good things come to those who wait.
Better things come to those who try. Best things come to those who believe in their efforts.
Goals are a means to an end not the ultimate purpose of our lives.
They are simply a tool to concentrate our focus and move us in a direction.
The only reason you pursue goals is to cause yourselves to expand and grow.
Achieving goals by yourselves will never make you happy in the long term. It’s who you become as you overcome the obstacles necessary to achieve your goals that can give you the deepest and long lasting sense of fulfilment.
We tend to forget that happiness does not come as a result of getting something we do not have, but rather of recognising and appreciating what we have.
Everyone should carefully observe which way their heart draws them to, then choose that way.
You need to overcome the tag of people against you as you reach for higher goals.
