Letters to the Editor: Hats off to OSA

On behalf of Siphongweni Primary School staff learners, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the Old Student Association of the school, for the valiant effort made in assisting us with educational materials.

Initially, OSA donated a signpost bearing the school’s name making it easy for motorists to identify the site of the school. Recently OSA donated stationery to learners.

It was a shot in the arm for poverty stricken learners whose parents could not afford purchasing pens, pencils and other accessories owing to financial constraints.

I urge the upcoming youth to evaluate OSA for lubricating the wheels of better academic performance among learners.

I say hats off to Mr Lizwe, Gift Tshuma, Reason Sibanda, Mr N Ndlovu, Miss Nomathemba  Ndlovu and other members for wonderful gestures that will remain in our minds and the entire Mjumi community at large.

Never tire in generosity. May God bless you.

Sikoliwe “Scotch” Nyathi, Gwayi River, Tsholotsho. O
