LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Legislators’ demand for cars unreasonable

Editor — I find it totally irresponsible for Members of Parliament to ask for cars when the country is going through a difficult period of price madness and the MPs are totally silent and nowhere to be seen in their constituencies to monitor price increases.

Do they have people at heart.

What do they need cars for yet some have been MPs for more than 15 years and have NEVER NEVER visited their constituencies?

They only surface ONLY when they seek to be re-elected. Some have cars already from previous sittings in Parliament and those new can board buses like everybody else maybe those who voted them in can have a chance to know them.

I BET more than 90 percent of those who voted for them have never seen them facially.

I therefore urge the Minister of Finance to stand his ground and use foreign currency for critical needs of the people like medicine and fuel.

Come on MPs lets be mature and be serious and look deeper than this.People are crying out with this price increase madness and you aint there in your constituencies.
