Letters to the Editor: Well done Prof Mthuli Ncube

I WOULD like to hail the move by the Government to abolish the multi-currency system as a step in the right direction.

Well done Minister Ncube and President Mnangagwa. People were now worshiping the US$ as if it was gold.

The thriving black market is now in the intensive care unit as the prices of commodities are falling.

Doing my shopping in town on Monday last week I was relieved to see 2 litres of Coca-Cola going for $12 yet it was $23,99. A packet of Zimbabwean Chompkins was $13,20 the other week but on Monday it was $8.

Let’s hope the price of mealie-meal will go down as it’s not affordable for the poor man.

Well done Minister Ncube, let’s hope your painful reforms will bear fruit because why should Zimbabweans suffer when our country is so rich with mineral resources like gold, diamonds, nickel, chrome, coal etecetera.

Only time will tell.

Lovemore Moyo, The General.
