CHILLSPORT Records co-producer Levels is on cloud nine as their new cultural riddim for this year, titled Homo Nendarira, is currently trending on YouTube.

Chillspot Records releases a riddim every year which promotes African culture.

This year the record label roped in two Zambian artists, Petersen and Elma, to feature on their new trending Homo Nendarira Riddim.

Levels said he was elated to see the riddim trending within 24hrs of its release.

“We released the riddim yesterday (Saturday).

“The riddim features Zambian artists like Petersen and Elma.

“Petersen is one of the biggest artists in Zambia.

“The local artists that are featuring are Killer T, Seh Calaz, Shashl, Gemma and Enzo. The Gemma & Enzo song has a video and it’s trending on number 10 today (Sunday),” said Levels.

“Killer T, Shashl, Seh Calaz are also trending. We have about six songs off Homo Nendarira riddim that are trending in less than 24hrs.

“It’s quite pleasing to note that.”

Levels said it was a decision they took to release an African riddim, with a Shona title, every year.

“This is the type of a riddim we release every year. We make sure the riddim has a Shona name and carries an African sound.

“We started with the riddim called Ndoripinda, then Unoripa, Matare, and this year Homo Nendarira.

“So it’s fire,” said Levels.
