Limpopo nears vote counting completion

The Limpopo province is nearing completion of vote counting, currently sitting at 99.74% of voting districts counted, following Wednesday’s general elections.

As is the case in other provinces, the ruling ANC enjoys a comfortable 79% lead, followed by the Economic Freedom Fighters at 10.24% and the Democratic Alliance third with 6.61%.
So far only Mpumalanga and the Northern Cape have completed counting, with the North West having counted 99.83% of their votes, Eastern Cape sitting on 97.75% and KwaZulu-Natal on 95.32%.-SABC NEWS
