BULAWAYO’S streets know his art but now Bow Mural, real name Leeroy Spinx Brittain, is painting headlines for all the wrong reasons.
The mural artist, once admired for brightening walls with his creativity, has left his wife and seven children heartbroken after publicly confessing to a sizzling affair with side chick Novuyo Ncube, aka Noxxy Royal.
It all exploded after a steamy phone call leaked on social media. A no-holds-barred sex talk between Bow and Noxxy sparked a netizen meltdown and got gossip-fingers furiously tapping on keyboards.
“I guess everyone now knows about my affair,” Bow wrote shamelessly on Facebook. “Yes, I’m owning up to it. We’ve been together for years.”
Years? While married? With seven kids?
In the audio, Noxxy boldly declares she’s ready to dump her husband for Bow. And the mural man seems just fine with the idea.
“I’m tired of hiding this relationship. It’s been more than 7 years. It’s not fair to my wife and kids, but I didn’t force her to stay,” Bow said, brushing off the fallout like a man on a mission.
Social media exploded. Critics slammed him for neglecting his kids, failing to even take them to school, while spending time and money on side chick escapades.
“Yes, I’ve sniffed powder. Yes, I’ve been high and paying for lodges,” he ranted on Facebook. “It’s my life, my money. And if journalists want to run the story, go ahead.”
Minutes after the rant, Bow Mural pulled a U-turn.
“Greetings. My account was hacked,” he claimed in a shaky comeback. “I love my wife and kids. Someone is sabotaging me.”
Too little, too late?
Fans, followers, and family are now questioning whether the man who once brought colour to city walls has completely blacked out his moral compass.
From family man to social media scandal, Bow Mural’s real-life drama is messier than any mural and this one won’t be painted over easily.
