THE stage is now set for the second edition of Little Mr and Miss Africa pageant slated for April 7 at Premier Hotel OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Two girls from Zimbabwe – Tamar Muchineuta (nine) and Saminah Muzondo (12) – will represent the country at the event.
Speaking to H-Metro, Farai Zembeni, the manager of the two models, said the pageant was meant to groom young girls to be confident.
Zembeni is privileged to be a part of the two models’ journey and promises to add value by also changing their lives.
“It’s one of the growing pageants that promotes little kids and groom them to be culturally rooted
“They are going to represent the country at Little Miss Africa, a young people pageant that is set to share and celebrate African Culture, among little kids,” he said.
The categories include introduction, culture wear and evening gown where they will be promoting Zimbabwean culture.
Saminah is a Form 1 student at Westminster and she is an advocate for putting an end to drug abuse.
Tamar is a radio host at Capitalk and is advocating for education, she was also the winner of Miss Universe Super Talent last year.
