She throws dog waste into my yard, neighbour tells court

A HARARE man was granted a protection order against his neighbour who verbally and physically abuses him.

Joseph Ngwinyai told the court that his neighbour, Georgina Majara, repeatedly insults him in front of his family and other neighbours, and throws dog waste into his yard.

“She is a wicked lady Your Worship, and her husband can’t control her.

“Last week she was playing loud music and when I asked her to reduce the volume, she yelled and threw stones at me.

“Later that night she threw a plastic bag with dog poop into my yard,” said Joseph.

Georgina denied the accusations saying it’s not her fault that her dogs pooped in his yard as there was no fence at his house.

“He is just too dramatic for a man.

“He knows very well that he stays in the ghetto, but he is busy complaining about noise.

“I also want to apply for a protection order against him since he is the one who comes to my house causing disputes,” Georgina said.

Magistrate Tamara Chibindi said Joseph’s submission was more acceptable and granted him the protection order.
