adminLIVERPOOL have accepted a bid worth up to £10m for forward Fabio Borini from fellow Premier League side Sunderland.
The Italy international, 24, had a loan spell with the Black Cats during the 2013-14 season, scoring seven goals in 32 matches.
However, he then rejected a permanent move to the Stadium of Light.
There are also bids on the table from Inter Milan, Fiorentina and Watford but none of those have so far proved acceptable to the Anfield club.
Inter’s bid for Borini is worth £6m while ambitious Watford have offered £7 million – Fiorentina are still in the mix and the decision now lies with the striker as to whether he makes the move to Sunderland or waits to see if the Italian interest yields improved bids before the deadline.
Borini was Brendan Rodgers’s first signing as Liverpool manager when he paid Roma £11 million in July 2012 after working with him at previous clubs Chelsea and Swansea.
He has scored three goals in 38 appearances for the Reds. — BBCSport
