OUTSIDER Love to Blush saw off the challenge of five other runners to win the Borrowdale Plate at Borrowdale Park yesterday.
With veteran rider, Morgen Nyamagwete, on the irons, Love to Bluff, won the feature race, ahead of Coachella, who was favourite, going into the first race, after the OK Grand Challenge.
The Borrowdale Plate was the main race of the day and had seven races held behind closed doors.
As Covid-19 restrictions remain in force, in the country, the races were strictly held virtually.
And, it was Nyamagwete and Love to Bluff, who finished 1.75 lenghts, ahead of second-placed Coachella.
By Judpot (USA) and bred by Millstream Farm, the four-year-old gelding, Love to Bluff, has now won five of his eight starts.
Love To Bluff is owned by RS Dyer, SN Buchan, N Evans, MK Chant, G de Jong, A Dixon, R Morgan, R.Sherwood, G Carter, and P Lewis.
Coachela finished ahead of Verdier and Fereeq, from the Gorkhan Terzi yard, who completed the last places.
Coachella is bred by Professor IM Sanne and owned by John Koumides, and he had won over 10 races coming into yesterday’s race.
