A LOVE triangle has spilled into court.
A Harare man is claiming his love rival is breaching his peace by assaulting, insulting and threatening to kill him.
Munyaradzi Mukazi has applied for a peace order against Oswell Hera, accusing him of chasing him away from his workplace at Gazaland Shopping Centre.
“I called his girlfriend because she owns a hardware store and I needed some items from her store. After we had an altercation with Oswell, I stopped calling her.
“Now, Oswell is in the habit of chasing me whenever he sees me.
“One day, he came to my office and assaulted me in front of my workmates and threatening to kill me,” said Munyaradzi.
In his defence, Oswell said he will only maintain peace if Munyaradzi stops calling and texting his girlfriend.
“I told him to stop calling my girlfriend of three years, but he never listens.
“Whenever he sees me , he runs away.
“I never assaulted or insulted him because he is older than me,” said Oswell.
Magistrate Sharon Mashavira granted Munyaradzi the peace order.
“It is clear that you are fighting over a woman.
“The allegations are true that you abused him after he failed to follow your rules,” said Magistrate Mashavira.
