LPG price down

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) users will now pay US$0,12 less for a kilogramme after the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (Zera) reduced the retail price for the commodity.

A kilogramme is now pegged at US$1,88, down from US$2,02.

The same will also retail for $1 078,09, up from $930,96 a kg.

“Operators are advised to display the prices at their retail outlet at a prominent place in clearly legible letters,” said Zera.

“Please note that it is permissible to sell LPG at prices below prescribed prices depending on one’s trading advantages.”
