Lt Gen Sanyatwe appointed Commander ZNA

President Mnangagwa has appointed decorated military commander and diplomat, Lieutenant General Anselem Sanyatwe, to the position of Commander Zimbabwe National Army with immediate effect.

His appointment follows the retirement of Lieutenant General David Sigauke.

Lt Gen Sanyatwe who is the former Presidential Guard commander, was Zimbabwe’s ambassador to Tanzania.
