Luke Perry bounces back

47-year-old went to stump in front of the cameras in his ridiculous outfit for a guest spot on an upcoming episode of “Raising Hope”.

The actor is dressed head-to-toe in the eco-friendly costume of grass and leaves for the episode “The Ghost of Arbor Day”, a role for which wooden acting is a positive boon.

Luke plays himself as well as the titular spirits of past, present and future, paying a visit to Shannon Woodward’s character Sabrina.

He appears when she disapproves of the way the Chance family, played by Martha Plimpton and Garret Dillahunt, observe the environmentally friendly holiday in an episode of the Fox show due to air in the Spring.

Luke shot to fame after playing Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills, 90210 from 1990 to 1995, before making a triumphant return from 1998 to 2000.

Even though he was playing a 16-year-old when the TV smash began, he was actually in his mid-20s at the time.

When he returned in 1998 he was billed as a permanent Special Guest Star, and remained with the series until its finished in 2000.

Roles in recent years have been harder to come by, but he has managed to win gigs voicing characters on children’s cartoons, most recently guesting on “Pound Puppies”, and also appeared in two episodes of “Body of Proof” last year. – Daily Mail.
