DIVINE Lunga has rejoined Golden Arrows on a season-long loan deal from Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Warriors left-back has left the Pretoria-based club just a year after his move from Arrows.
The loan move comes after he struggled for game time at Sundowns.
Lunga failed to break into the first XI, making just six starts, in the league.
He joined Arrows in 2018, when he left Zimbabwean club Chicken Inn.
He was snapped up by the South African champions in July 2021 on a three-year deal.
He, however, only made 12 appearances, playing nine DStv Premiership matches, two Nedbank Cup games and once in the MTN8 Cup.
The Bulawayo-born footballer never kicked a ball for Sundowns in the CAF Champions League last season.
The arrival of Chilean midfielder Marcelo Allende, Ethiopian forward Abubeker Nassir and Moroccan centre-back Abdelmounaim Boutouil, worsened Lunga’s situation.
Sundowns had exhausted their foreign quota and Lunga could not be registered for the upcoming season, leading to his release on loan.
