THOSE attending the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair which kicks off in Bulawayo next week can set aside time to attend a special show from one of South Africa’s top kwaito artistes L’vovo Derrango.
The Palesa hit-maker (real name Thokozani Ndlovu) who last performed in Bulawayo in 2011 will perform at Stop Over Bar on April 26 with local DJs supporting him.

Vusumuzi Siqalaba, one of the organisers of the event, said the Durban-based kwaito star would touch down at the Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International airport on the day of the show and Derrango would take time to meet his fans.

Siqalaba said L’vovo’s paperwork had been sent to the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ) for the show’s approval.
NACZ communication and marketing officer Cathrine Mthombeni confirmed they had received the paperwork and were processing it.

Derrango has six albums to his name including Headmaster, Irresistible, Heavyweight, Fabulous, Teddy Bear and Derango which include hit tracks, Resista, Inamandla, Touch and Bayang’sukela.

Last year, the artiste released the hit Palesa which he produced with Professor and Uhuru.
