OUR main story yesterday was about a woman who sensationally claimed that her husband has a string of girlfriends, including married women, and has been using these women’s nude photos to dupe scores of other men.
Emily Makunike, 32, says she found out about her husband’s dark side when she scrolled his cellphone.
Her husband, John Nyakudya, is 27.
Emily has since left their matrimonial home and she is now living with her parents.
Emily claims John has been having a string of extra-marital affairs and then tricked his girlfriends to share with him their nude photos.
John then used fake credentials, in which he pretended to be a woman, to open some Facebook accounts, and some WhatsApp groups.
He would then use the nude photos from his girlfriends, according to Emily, to lure some men into sending him various amounts of money.
During these shady transactions, John would be pretending to be the nude women in the pictures.
Emily, who is expecting the couple’s second child, told H-Metro that she decided to pack her belongings after finding out about John’s adulterous affairs.
She said it was better for her to struggle with her pregnancy and her other child at her parents’ house than keep living with a man who “behaves like a dog.”
She said she came to know that John has been bedding various women and requesting their nude photographs.
He would use the photographs to lure several men, pretending to be a woman on social media, and demanding money for either transport or airtime.
John confirmed to us that he had separated from his wife.
John told us that as far as he was concerned, there were just one or two nude photos in his cellphone and not the scores of photos which Emily is claiming.
What this told us was that Emily’s story has a lot of substance.
John confirmed that he has some nude photos on his cellphone but his only dispute was the number.
That gives us an impression of the man that John is.
He should be ashamed of the man he is.
He is a liar who has been duping other men while pretending to be a woman.
It’s very clear that John is a disturbed individual.
Unfortunately, he is not the only man who has a similar story.
There are many men like him in our country.
Emily is right to leave such a man because he is not fit to be a husband or a father to her family.
Yes, he might be the biological father of her children but it is clear that he does not have the character of the man who should lead the house where those children will grow up.
What will he teach those kids?
To open ghost Facebook accounts where they can pretend to be women while they are men and use the platform to dupe other men of their money?
That is not the type of a man who deserves the label of a father.
