Miss Universe Zimbabwe Lyshanda Moyas faces one of her most important moments today as she goes into the closed-door interviews at the Miss Universe pageant in Thailand. The interviews are a crucial part of the competition, as judges get to learn more about each contestant’s personality, advocacy, confidence, and communication skills

Lyshanda said she is ready for the challenge and is looking forward to sharing her story and representing Zimbabwe with pride. Pageant experts often describe the closed-door interview as the “heart” of Miss Universe, because it plays a major role in determining who advances to the next stage.
Her big day today follows a strong performance yesterday, when she took part in the swimwear fashion show in Pattaya. The event featured 80 delegates, and Lyshanda was praised online for her confidence, composure, and stage presence. Many Zimbabweans shared clips and photos of her walk, saying she carried the national flag well.
