Mabvuku murder suspect in court

AN Eastview man was hauled to court yesterday after being implicated in a murder that occurred last November.

Steven Mwashita appeared before magistrate Dennis Mangosi charged with murder.

The court heard that on November 17 last year at Mabvuku turn off, Mwashita together with Ian Musanhu, who has already appeared in court, and three others still at large, assaulted the now deceased, Langton Tandire.

They used batons and logs before dumping him on the railway line.

He was later run over by a train and died.

Mwashita will return to court on May 4 for routine remand pending finalisation of investigations.
