TINAIVO Tapfumaneyi from Masvingo has won a house in the African Distillers Limited Zimbabwe (Afdis), Think Out Of The Box. He became the second winner of the competition, after his entry packet was picked during the second draw held at Sekusile Shopping Centre in Nkulumane, Bulawayo last week. Three houses in Budiriro suburb in Harare were up for grabs in the competition, which kicked off in April this year.

Tapfumaneyi is the second lucky person to win a house in the competition that is giving away three houses in Harare’s Budiriro suburb. Afdis southern region manager Ms Nhlonpeng Ncube told Sunday News that the aim of the competition was to promote local brands.

“Gold Blend Rare Blended Whisky is one of the best beverages that is consumed throughout the country and we aim at promoting our local brands. Gold Blend is our flagship and we are rewarding our consumers, it is our number one brand — a Zimbabwean brand. The turnout today was magnificent, comparing it to the first. We hope the third will be even bigger than this,” she said urging the public to drink responsibly and also to stop under-age drinking. Participants stand a chance of winning a two-bedroomed house in Budiriro.

The house comprising four-rooms, is fully tiled, walled and gated. The winner of the first draw was Brighton Ndlovu, a DJ from Pumula East in Bulawayo.
