Macheso resumes live shows

Alick Macheso will resume live performances on Saturday with a family show at Damview Gardens in Chitungwiza.

He will share the stage with Freeman and Progress Chipfumo.

The event starts at 1pm till late.

The family show, which is set to attract hordes of fans, marks Macheso’s return to showbiz after a festive season break.

Macheso spent the grater part of the month at his farm.

In an interview with H-Metro, Macheso’s publicist, Tich Makahamadze, confirmed the family show.

“We are back to business after taking a break. It’s nice to start the new year in our home town of Chitungwiza.

“Judging by the line-up backing us, fans should come in numbers since variety is guaranteed.

“In our case, we are promising people a day to remember,” he said.

Makahamadze said morale was high in their camp.

“The boys have been busy with rehearsals and we are looking forward to a great show,” he added.

Fans will fork out US$10 at the gate and US$5 for advance tickets.
