The wait is finally over for the biggest family show of the year, The Sunday Mail Bridal Gala at the Harare International Conference Centre this evening.
Excitement was stoked up several notches by news that celebrated gospel musician Sabastian Magacha will be part of the cast.
Magacha joins other popular performers who will entertain guests at this top-drawer family show.

The widely-travelled artiste’s presence has been made possible by Jan Jam Fashions, a company he has an endorsement deal with.
In an interview on Thursday, an elated Magacha described the last-minute deal as historic.

“It is not easy for an artiste to be part of The Sunday Mail Bridal Gala, but we all want to be a part of it,” he said. “Obviously, the newspaper has its own budgets which do not allow it to hire every musician, but when companies like Jan Jam come in, it helps a lot,” said Magacha.

The “Ridza Bosvo” hitmaker, popular for his energetic on-stage act, will battle it out for the support of gospel music lovers with mega choral outfit Zimpraise.

Cynthia Sithole, Jan Jam Fashions’ managing director, said they were thrilled to be part of the bridal gala.
“We have a good relationship with Saba (Magacha) and we hope to forge an even stronger one with The Sunday Mail,” she said. “This is just the beginning of plenty of things to come. The publication runs a lot of charity events and other programmes like Baby of the Year – Jan Jam Fashions is going to strive to become part of these events as they can grow our brand.”

Tonight’s show also features man of the moment Jah Prayzah, high-flying dendera crooner Suluman “Sulu” Chimbetu, and sought-after dance group Banyana Bafana, in a family friendly show that has been growing in leaps and bounds every year.

A ticket for tonight’s show is going for US$10 for adults and US$5 for children.
Brides & Dames, Stephen Margolis Resort, Goldtech Electronics, Tonjis Hiring, VIP Hosting, Rose Bridal, Pandhari Lodge, Events Gurus, Claire Events and Exquisite Fragrances, are some of the sponsors that are part of tonight’s event.
