Mahendere billed for Bulawayo UFIC concert

Award-winning gospel sensation Minister Mahendere is set to grace the United Family International Church (UFIC) music concert being held at the church’s auditorium at 15th Avenue and Fort Street in Bulawayo tomorrow.

Mahendere will be the headline act at the UFIC Bulawayo choir live recording that will feature performances by gospel artistes Thembinkosi Nyoni, Tinashe Magacha, Larry Gunda and Tsitsi Bizabani. The concert is expected to kick off at 2PM.

Mahendere said fans should expect a heartwarming performance.

“People should come in their numbers to experience the gospel of God through music. Attendance to the concert will be free so it’s one not to miss,” he said.

The musician recently won the Ingoma award in South Africa for being the best gospel artiste in Africa is a member and pastor at UFIC, a church led by Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa.

He has recorded several live DVDs with various UFIC choirs and expects this one to live up to his standards.

He has also played a significant role to the rise of the UFIC choir which received five nominations at the Zimbabwe music awards in 2014.
