THE Midwest Rhinos dominated with both bat and ball as they beat favourites, Eagles by 49 runs in the final of the domestic T20 cricket competition at Harare Sports Club yesterday.
It is their maiden silverware in T20s.
Rhinos made 174/9 in the 20 overs with Antum Naqvi making 50 off 32 balls while Richard Ngarava claimed two wickets for 15 runs for Eagles.
In reply, Eagles were restricted to 125/9 off their 20 overs with Naqvi in the mix again as he took two wickets for 19 while Craig Ervine was the Eagles topscorer with 21 off 19 balls.
