Other categories included Most Improved Player – Masamba Tapiwa, Best Young Player – Phakamani Moyo, Most Promising Player – Anderson Moyo, Rookie of the Year – Tapiwa Mutanda, Most Disciplined Player – Welcome Moyo, and Most Consistent Player – Denzel Dube.
“This is our fifth year in partnership with Mainline FC, and the team’s main objective is to keep the youths occupied, both from Bulilima and Mangwe Districts, so they don’t engage into drug and substance abuse,” said Maganga. He encouraged the team to keep the same vision, so in 2026, they would improve and get into the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

“Greens Supermarket will continue to support the team, and we will contribute to the purchase of new tracksuits for the team next year,” added Maganga.
Mkhulunyelwa Nkomo, the team’s director, thanked the supporters and emphasized the importance of punctuality, saying, “Time is what makes a team disciplined. For us to reach the premier league level, we must discipline ourselves regarding punctuality. Time is what brings about progress.
This is our eighth year still in Division One. We should improve and get to the next level.” Nkomo welcomed those who wished to be shareholders of the team, saying, “If you want to join Mainline FC, you can join in and get shares. We can even negotiate changing the team’s name; for example, we could name it Plumtree Chiefs.”

Director Jonathan Ndlovu extended his gratitude, thanking Nation Ncube, the Chairperson of Mainline FC supporters, for his vision and passion for the team. “I really appreciate the commitment of the supporters towards Mainline FC. Thank you so much, Ncube, for wishing the team well. We will grow big with the support you’re giving us.”
He added that the team should engage in gender equality and encourage women to take part in the technical executive. “I see our technical team is comprised only of males. We encourage women to come and join us,” said Ndlovu.
