A number of roads in the capital will be closed to facilitate installation of street lights, City of Harare has announced.

In a public notice, the local authority said motorists who use the targeted roads should seek alternative routes.

“Proposed temporary closure for supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of street lights infrastructure at the following site: Corner 7th Street from Corner Samora Machel to Churchill on September 15 to Saturday September 24,” acting Town Clerk Engineer Phakamile Moyo said.

In the central business district, Kenneth Kaunda Avenue will also be closed for 14 days.
