VETERAN dancer Majuice, real name Selemani Mpochi, is now back at Orchestra Mberikwazvo after the group’s management pardoned him for his transgressions.

The decision was reached following a series of meetings between the dancer and band leader Alick Macheso’s management.

Majuice is expected to be part of the group’s performances lined up for this coming weekend, with the major event being the much-hyped Macheso’s homecoming gig scheduled for Aquatic Complex on April 27.

The event will feature several other sungura singers, among them Tatenda and Esau Macheso, Peter and Obert Moyo, Tendai and Mark Ngwazi and Nicholas Zacharia.

“We have had a series of meetings with him (Majuice) and we decided to give him another chance. He has promised to reform,” said Macheso’s manager and publicist, Tich Makahamadze.

Majuice said he was grateful.

“I would like to thank our management and the boss Alick Macheso for taking me back. Orchestra Mberikwazvo is my home,” he said.
