He is God’s chief and the trustworthy servant.
The Holy Spirit is God Himself; He is a member of the Godhead. He is God in action. He is the peacemaker.
He guards and He guides. No human being can fully describe Him. The Holy Spirit.
A man should not be allowed to do anything in this world without the Holy Spirit.
A man should not marry and do business without being filled with the Holy Spirit. A woman should not even be allowed to cook without being filled with the Holy Spirit.
Even during the days of Apostle Peter, some disciples had to be chosen to be the overseers of the ministration of the tables because of the level and the degree of the Holy Spirit in them.
Stephen, the deacon, was chosen to be the head cook because he was full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom (Acts 6:3).
No wonder why some men do not like eating what their wives cook for them, the question still is; are these wives filled with the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit was there right from the beginning of the creation by God (Gen 1:2). The Holy Spirit was there carrying out the works of creation. He could put things into being according to the word of God.
Creation itself is the work of the Holy Spirit. Prophets of the old were greatly moved by the Spirit of Jehovah in order to do great exploits for Him. Some passed through the Red Sea as if on dry ground.
The Priests of the old caused the river Jordan to dry and create highways so that people could cross over to the other side without bridges.
People without the Holy Spirit need bridges for them to be able to cross over to the other side.
Through the Holy Spirit old women like Sarah and Elizabeth were given power to conceive and gave birth to great prophets of God in their old age.
Some were translated that they could not see death by the Holy Spirit. Tremendous things were done by the Holy Spirit through the life of some loyal individuals in the Old Testament.
Jesus warned and commanded His disciples not to depart from Jerusalem until they are filled with the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:4).
He knew how dangerous and disastrous it was going to be for them if they were going to minister without the Holy Ghost.
But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you: and you shall be my witnesses (Acts 1:8). Jesus is saying to His disciples: No Holy Ghost, no power.
He admonished them never to dare make this mistake of not waiting for the Holy Ghost to fill them before they began to be His witnesses.
Many preachers today have replaced the Holy Spirit with the theology they get from bible colleges.
Going to a bible college and acquiring a certificate from there does not make one preacher Holy Ghost-filled, though it may sound good.
A certificate from a bible college does not make one special in the sight of God; even demons do not regard these papers.
It’s just like having a marriage certificate, which is just a piece of paper but not marriage.
Pastors of today should be filled by the Holy Spirit, that’s why we are having frictions in so called churches among so called men of God.
The Holy Spirit is not there at all.
Certificates come with titles and earthly positions, but the amount of the Holy Ghost in an individual determines his rank in the spirit.
No wonder why an elderly educated secretary-general and overseer of a church who does not have the Holy Ghost hates a young spirit-filled prophet.
It is because of the absence of the oil of the Holy Ghost. We need the Holy Spirit in our churches today!
The Holy Spirit is the ultimate power in this world.
At my church we have seen the Holy Ghost working out marvellous miracles through the hands of our leader.
The sick are being healed, the lame walk, the blind see and the deaf are hearing because of the presence of the Spirit of Jehovah.
By the power of the Spirit of God I even witnessed the rising up high of the invalid of the societies.
Our prophet preached that having no education does not disqualify one from making it in life, education can be compensated by the presence of the Holy Spirit in an individual’s life.
The Holy Spirit is a giver of wisdom; he is an added advantage. he comes in with special abilities upon a person.
He laid his hands on me and I received the Holy Spirit. My life was never the same again after I received the Holy Ghost.
Cornelius received the Holy Ghost when Peter came to his house (Acts 10).
At Ephesus in the book of Acts 19, Paul made sure the disciples had to receive the Holy Spirit baptism apart from the water baptism.
A man anointed by God who has the Holy Spirit is also capable to impart what he has into other fellow believers’ life.
Fellow brethren, citizens of our beloved nation, may I take this opportunity to ask you this question, have you received the Holy Ghost?
We need the Holy Spirit today in our churches, ministries, families, marriages, our economies and our nation.
May we continue to pray for our nation. God bless you.
