Makurumidze prays for goals

FORWARD Diago Makurumidze believes they need to fight harder for Sheasham to stand the heat in the Castle Lager Premiership.

The Construction boys are set to face Cranborne Bullets at Baobab on Sunday. They are yet to register a win in this season’s campaign.

“Going into every game, I will be always looking for a win and this one against Cranborne is no exception.

“We feel we have to start collecting points, which are going to be important in the long run.

“It’s also an opportunity for me, and the rest of the team, to score more goals.

“As a forward, you might help the team in many aspects, including defending, but we also need to score goals.

“The team has to show fighting spirit, there are no easy games for us. We have to earn what we have worked for. 

“We need to use every energy we have to our advantage.”
