Malema’s office at Parliament is burgled‚ files missing: EFF

THE Economic Freedom Fighters have laid a criminal charge with police in Cape Town over a burglary in the Parliamentary office of its leader‚ Julius Malema.

The EFF has also written to the Speaker of the National Assembly to report the burglary.

When the EFF Parliamentary support staff arrived at the office this morning‚ “they found that the office door locks had been changed and doors left opened‚” the party said in a statement.

“Private/confidential files containing information of the EFF are missing.”

“As things stand‚ the files which contain the travel and security information of the Commander-in-Chief (Malema) has disappeared and it looks like it was an inside job.”

The EFF asked the SA Police Service and Parliamentary Protection Services to “thoroughly and independently investigate the burglary”.

“We hope that the individuals who broke into (Malema’s) office will be caught‚ arrested and those working with them exposed.” — Timeslive.
