Mandava last season.
The victory saw Gunners being condemned to Division One with Mambas remaining in the Premiership.
A goal less, in Mambas’ sensational victory margin, would have seen them relegated.
“We are playing at home and we do not have any pressure at all. FC Platinum are going to find the going very tough and if they happen to win they will not get the victory on a silver platter,” said Mambas’ coach John “Toto” Ncube.
“We are not even afraid of them though we know they are on top of the log because they have scored more goals meaning they have very good strikers.
“We are ready to face them as we also need to collect maximum points.” Mambas have started the 2013 season on a good note. In their first match they held champions Dynamos to a 1-1 draw at Morris Depot and then edged Tripple B 2-1 in Beitbridge with goals coming from Honey Chimutimunzeve and the in-form Nicholas Arufandika.
Tomorrow they meet a fired-up FC Platinum side, enjoying a new lease of life since the arrival of Tennant Chilumba. Under the Zambian coach, FC Platinum have won both their first two games. Hitman Nelson Maziwisa, back home after starring on lone at neighbours Shabanie, has already scored three goals to show that his triumph, in the race for the Golden Boot last year, was no fluke.
